The Global Week of Prayer is upon us and will be September 6th through the 13th this year.
This year, for the Global Week of Prayer, we are going to lean into and participate in it differently than we have in previous years. We are going to focus on the rhythms, resources, and relationships in prayer that are available to us to help grow our lives of prayer, individually and as a community of faith.
During this week, we will emphasize our daily prayer rhythm and strongly encourage participation by providing new avenues to participate and opening a Zoom room for each daily prayer time. We will also, once again, add the evening 8 PM Lectio time.
To get the Zoom room links, you can email Jeannette Zoll @ exeterprayerhouse@gmail.com.
Our prayer room will also be available Monday through Friday during normal office hours, from 9 AM to 4 PM. We will also introduce a new virtual prayer room available 24/7/365, featuring all the resources, stations, and guides from our partnerships with 24/7 Prayer, OMS, and other organizations. This and more will be available throughout the week and beyond. You can find the new virtual prayer room @ https://tinyurl.com/EPH-Online.
.On Tuesday the 8th, we will have a day dedicated to praying from sunrise to sunset, encouraging individuals to sign up every hour on the hour from 6 AM to 8 PM to be in the prayer space and pray.
To sign up, go to https://signup.24-7prayer.com/signup/dc006c/.
On Thursday the 10th, in the evening, we are going to have a special time of crafting in prayer, where we will make new resources for our family-of-families prayer space, as well as for our own personal prayer spaces at home.
On Friday, 9/11, we will be joining our family of families for our annual Honor, Serve, and Pray event for our community’s first responders, veterans, and their families by setting up a prayer tent outside for our drive-thru services and a prayer space inside for our dine-in services.
Then on Saturday the 12th, we will have a prayer walk, praying over our community, and then finally on Sunday the 13th, during our Sunday Gathering, we will celebrate all the Lord has done together as one family throughout the week.
It is sure to be a blessed week, and we encourage you to participate and go deeper with us in the resources, rhythms, and relationships of prayer God has given us this year during the Global Week of Prayer, September 6th to September 13th.
