Spiritual Disciplines ~ Evangelism & Proclamation – How: B.L.E.S.S – Share your Story

This sermon emphasizes that all Christians are called to share the hope they have in Jesus through both actions and words. Reflecting on the B.L.E.S.S. model—Begin with prayer, Listen, Eat, Serve, and Share—the message encourages believers to follow Jesus’ example in everyday life. Using the story of the man born blind in John 9, the message highlights common hesitations: feeling inadequate, not knowing enough, or fearing discomfort and cost. Yet the healed man shows us how to overcome this by sharing his story: “I was blind, now I see.” Likewise, as followers of Jesus, we are called to tell our own “I was, then Jesus, now I am” story to bless others.
