Grace in the Eremos ~ Place to Come Closer

Today, we bring our Lenten journey to a close, reaffirming that Lent is indeed a season of reflection, repentance, and reconciliation. Learning a kind of grace we find in the eremos, the wilderness, is grace to draw close to God.

To do this, Jaxon and Rocky McDaniel will lead us through our final Penitential Psalm in our series, Psalm 130, which acknowledges sin and finds comfort in God’s rich mercy. Psalm 130 is also known as a Psalm of Ascent, sung by worshipers on pilgrimage to worship the Lord, as the wildernesses of this life are places to draw close to God.
