Come February 18th, and join us at 6 PM in a time of meditative prayer, focused readings, communion with Christ, and a symbolic gesture of receiving ashes to remind ourselves that without Jesus, we are just dust, because as Genesis 3:19 says,
“By the sweat of your face you shall eat bread, till you return to the ground, for out of it you were taken; for you are dust, and to dust you shall return.” (ESV)
This is an act of repentance; it is an act of remembrance, it is an act of reclaiming what the hell has stolen in Jesus, and rising from the ashes to New Life in Christ.
This will be held on February 18th at 6 p.m. as we enter the 2026 Lenten season. We will also be doing this in conjunction with our Preparation of the Heart Lenten Prayer Space and will have various stations set up throughout the facility to provide you with an opportunity to stop, focus, and prepare your heart for this Lenten season.
For years, Christians have set aside this season for fasting and prayer to seek out our Lord Jesus Christ. Let us, as a family of families, join our brothers and sisters in Christ around the world in this wonderful Lenten tradition by coming together to remind ourselves of the full work of Jesus Christ on the cross.
