Resurrected Life Here & Now ~ Two Facts of Life

Today’s message, we continue where we left off two weeks ago in 1st Peter and tie in a critical lesson learned at IYC 2026 this past week. It will challenge us to move beyond simply hearing God’s Word in day-to-day life to actively living it out. Drawing on 1 Peter 4:12–19, we are reminded that suffering and judgment are unavoidable realities in a fallen world, but followers of Christ should not be surprised by trials. Instead, we are called to rejoice when we suffer for Christ, knowing that God is refining our faith and that His Spirit rests upon us. A question is asked throughout: “What are you doing with what God has taught you?” Faith was never intended to remain in our minds but to transform our hearts and shape our daily actions. Like the wise builder in Jesus’ teaching, we must build our lives on Christ so we can stand firm when life’s storms come. Rather than becoming professional church attenders, believers are called to become genuine disciples whose lives reflect the transforming power of the gospel and faithfully endure until Christ returns.
