Characteristics of a Godly Father

Today, during our time to hear and respond to a message from God’s Word, we will learn of the importance of godly fatherhood. We will look at Biblical examples of earthly fathers who, like us, are flawed, and then turn our attention to the only perfect father. Our Heavenly Father. Looking at how He demonstrates all the characteristics of what it means to be a Godly father, and how a Godly father provides, forgives, protects, disciplines, and guides their children, reflecting the characteristics of our Heavenly Father. Although no earthly father is perfect, men need to remember the importance of their role in young people’s lives, no matter how flawed we may be. Through faith and perseverance, fathers can grow into the men God intends them to be, embodying unconditional love and guidance.
